With only two days left of school before we break, St. E’s girls are preparing themselves for the holidays. In the midst of buying presents for and spending time with family, some students decided to dedicate their weekend to those who do not have a family to celebrate with.

On Saturday, they headed to Walmart to find the best deals on goodies to fill Christmas stockings for residents of Covenant House and its branches. They utilized their math skills in order to make the best use of their $750 budget and fill 60 stockings for the men and women currently staying at Covenant House, Nancy’s Place, and Raphael’s Life House. On Sunday, a few of those students headed to Nancy’s Place to decorate gingerbread houses, make sugar cookies, and spread the Christmas cheer.
