These are little things that remind me of the fall season:

Leaves painted with splashes of yellow, crimson, and orange, covering trees, roads, sidewalks, and grass

The slightly dark, yet warm colored clothing of the season: sweaters, scarves with patches, long brown boots

Pumpkin bread, muffins, pie…anything pumpkin

Fall scented candles, the little flame dancing to the song of autumn

The foreshadowing of a winter to come, as the last leaves of the trees take a final bow

Cold, windy days

The bittersweet beginning of the school year

A slight longing for the summer, as the days grow longer and school becomes harder

Halloween and Thanksgiving

Apple season, apple cider

Different hues of orange and brown
