Last Thursday night, Panthers’ basketball had much more to celebrate than their JV and Varsity victories over the Manville Mustangs.

It was Senior Night- a time to commemorate two very special goofballs, seniors Emma “I Block Shots for a Living” Corazza and Ellie “I’m Tough as Nails and I have the Bruises to Prove It” Martine.

Not only did the duo lead the team to a solid 50-34 victory that night, but they led their younger SEAsters throughout the entire basketball season.  They supplied the team with positivity, encouragement, reassurance, and sass when most necessary.  They captained our ship, and they helped each player to see the potential within herself.
Emma and Ellie’s talent, leadership, personalities, and friendship are unmatchable, and their presence will be sorely missed in years to come.
